Event #1: Park Cleanup!

We are excited to share the success of Ecosysteens' first event, held on November 6, 2022, at Carrollton's Blue and Orange Trails. With 15 dedicated teen volunteers and 6 officers, we worked together to create a cleaner environment and address soil pollution in Carrollton, TX. As a youth-led organization, our mission is to empower young individuals to make a positive impact on the environment through education and innovation. During the event, pollutants and contaminants were removed from the soil, contributing to a healthier community. In all, we estimated a total of 20 lbs of waste removed from the park. Fostering environmental stewardship among the younger generation is crucial for our planet's future. We are grateful for the community's support and participation, and we look forward to continuing our mission for a more sustainable and environmentally conscious Carrollton.
