Event #5: Independence Day Fundraiser!

At the Fireworks on Main Event in Rowlett, TX, Ecosysteens took conscious steps towards environmental sustainability. Our team, consisting of 4 officers, 2 teen volunteers, and 2 parents, sold delicious vegan and gluten-free cookies to promote eco-friendliness. We used recyclable paper for packaging and recyclable ziplock bags, reducing single-use plastic waste. The event on July 4, 2023, from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., showcased our commitment to a greener future with the community's enthusiastic support. We are thrilled to share that our efforts were a success, generating approximately $450 in revenue and around $200 in profit. These funds will be crucial in supporting future initiatives that further our mission of environmental conservation. Together, with the support of our community, we are making a positive impact on the environment and fostering a more sustainable world.
